Canadian Visual Artist, Charlene Chartrand.

Charlene is a young emerging artist, located in Toronto, Ontario Canada. She began to paint on canvas at the age of 16. She was inspired to take her art to the next level, because of the inspiration from her artist Grandmother - Danielle Langlois.

Charlene paint's with acrylic, oil, ink and really enjoys to explore with textures, incorporating mixed media and photography...allowing herself to explore every subject and never settles to one style.

Charlene was self taught, but is now attending the Toronto School of Art, for her Fine Arts Diploma! She is enthused about schooling and meeting other fellow artists, exploring and working with them.

Charlene is the co-founder of an artist run networking group - namely, ARTiCO. It stands for Artists In Connection and the website for ARTiCO is http://www.vrvgallery.com/artico.

Currently, Charlene is working on commission paintings and gearing up for future exhibitions, events and charities. Not only is Charlene a painting artist...she is an established Model and Actress. Singing and Dancing are some of Charlene's additional talents.
